More dryer balls.

I've been really pleased with the results using these wool dryer balls with my laundry. I've also had positive feedback from some people who have bought them from me. Here are some recently made dryer balls. Two sets are wool yarn and the others are wool roving (which felts very well) and yarn.

I sell the dryer balls for $15 (CAD) for a set of three.

Cuff bracelet

A black cuff bracelet with button closure that I whipped up yesterday. I made up the pattern and used Bernat Sequin yarn.

Some other hats I've made

Just some pics of a few other hats I've made. Some are still available for sale.

The owl hats were designed through a few different patterns but heavily inspired by the newborn owl hat pattern at Repeat Crafter Me .

So after making loads of owl hats and a unicorn (yes a unicorn) hat for my 16-year-old. My 14-year-old requested a tiger.

Here's the unicorn ...

Wool dryer balls
My friend Megan introduced me to these, now I love using them for my laundry. Here's a link to a post about them by David Suzuki http://www.davidsuzuki.org/blogs/queen-of-green/2012/09/wool-dryer-balls-shrink-drying-time/
They help reduce static and drying time without the use of fabric softener. They do pill a bit in the dryer but if it bothers you, you can use a sweater shaver to remove the pills. I'm not too bothered as they're only going in the dryer.  I sell sets of three for $15.

I took  elements from a few patterns for inspiration including this great one at Repeat Crafter Me
